Streams of Ribbons: This typically refers to the "ribbon pour" technique in acrylic pouring. In this method, different colors of acrylic paint are layered or poured side-by-side, creating flowing, ribbon-like patterns as the paint spreads across the canvas. These "ribbons" can be delicate and intertwined, resembling actual ribbons dancing on the surface, or they can be bold, vibrant bands of color swirling together. Rolling a marble across the canvas while paint is wet also creates ribbon like effects as well. Also used was a balloon to create flower like effects. The combination of these techniques can create visually interesting effects, blending colors in unexpected ways and producing a unique and captivating composition.
