An open cup pour involves pouring acrylic paints into a cup with no bottom, as you pour slightly lifting & twisting the cup while moving it slowly across the canvas as the paint flows out from the bottom it create cells. When finished moving paint use a balloon that's slightly deflated & pressing it onto the painting while wet which creates a flower like effect or even angle wings.  It's a technique that allows for creating unique and abstract fluid art effects and beauty!!
